My work explores the intricate patterns, structures, and the transformations found in the natural world. Rather than pursuing beauty as an end in itself, I am drawn to remarkable textures, colors and forms that emerge in both living and decaying plant life, revealing the complexity that often goes unnoticed.

Through the creative enhancement of photographic images, I seek to deepen the viewer's awareness of these natural structures and invite closer observation of the visual rhythms that shape our natural environment.

The work of Georgia O'Keefe has been a significant influence on my artistic perspective. Her belief in slowing down to truly observe the natural world resonates strongly with my own practice.

"When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else. Most people wish around so they have no time to look at a flower."
